They vote for All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams by position. Each player is awarded 5 points for a 1st. Team vote, 3 for a 2nd. Team and 1 for a 3rd. Team.

Karl Malone was selected 11 consecutive times for the first team. With his last selection his surpassed names like Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jerry West.
