This page features the a list with the worst teams in NBA history.

If you thought the New York Knicks' 2005-06 season that led to the firing of Larry Brown was awful, you were right, but it wasn't even one of the top 50 worst season in NBA history. In fact it wasn't the worst in Knicks history.

Here you have the list with the bottom 50 performances in the NBA Regular Season.

For nearly 40 years the doubtful "honor" of being at the top of this list was for the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers with a .110 winning percentage and only 9 wins in 82 games. But the 2011-12 Charlotte Bobcats gave them some rest after recording a pathetic .106 winning percentage with just 7 wins in a reduced 66-game season. And they did in style, ending the season with a streak of 23 consecutive losses.

In 2007-08 the Miami Heat tied the worst record of their history, 15-67, only two seasons after winning their first NBA Championship. The 2008-09 Sacramento Kings and the 2009-10 Nets and Timberwolves also joined this selected group. Minnesota did it again in 2010-11. Nobody in 2013 was bad enough to be here.
