Here you have the list with the all-time longest winning streaks in the NBA Regular Season. The 1972 Lakers led by Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain and Gail Goodrich are at the top with their famous 33 victories. The Lakers appear 4 more times here. Eleven of the 30 teams from this list ended up winning the championship (that includes twice the 1971 Bucks and twice the 2000 Lakers).
In 2013 LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and the defending champions Miami Heat climbed to the second place with a fantastic winning streak of 27 games.
Two teams from the 2006-07 season made this list, both Mavericks and Suns won 17 consecutive games while the Suns also had another streak of 15 games. The Rockets of 2007-08 won 22 games despite losing Yao Ming after their 12th victory. The 2008-09 Celtics saw their franchise record 19-game winning streak come to an end in the worst scenario: at L.A. against the Lakers on Christmas Day. In 2012-13 the Clippers got 17 consecutive wins while the Nuggets won 15 in a row.
This list does not include winning streaks that started in one season but ended in the following season. |
